Chicken Bone Broth

Ingredients:

  • Bones from at least 3 chickens
  • 4 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger Powder or a piece of finely chopped fresh Ginger
  • 1.8 liters warm water

Instructions:

  1. Place the chicken bones in a large pot and sprinkle the apple cider vinegar over the bones.
  2. Let the bones sit in the apple cider vinegar for about 15 minutes.
  3. Add the warm water and boil on a low heat for six hours.
  4. Use a sieve to remove all the bones from the broth.
  5. Enjoy immediately or store in fridge for later use.
  6. Pour broth into portion sized Ziploc bags, freezer-safe containers or silicone muffin pans and freeze.

Drink on its own or use as a basis for a soup.
